Job Overview
A privately held property development company based on the Gold Coast is searching for a Contract Administrator to assist in managing a robust lineup of hotel and mixed-use developments. Recognized for top-quality, design-centered projects, the firm has several hospitality ventures currently in planning and active development stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee head contracts and subcontract agreements spanning various projects.
- Draft, evaluate, and negotiate subcontract packages effectively.
- Process and administer progress payment claims, variations, extensions of time, and final account settlements.
- Manage cost tracking, forecasting, and maintain budget oversight.
- Handle procurement and supplier engagement for trade services.
- Assist with tendering activities and provide contract award recommendations.
- Ensure precise financial reporting and documentation throughout projects.
- Coordinate communication with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between 3 to 8+ years of professional experience as a Contract Administrator.
- Background in commercial, hotel, mixed-use, or large-scale residential construction projects.
- Strong grasp of construction contracts and procurement procedures.
- Demonstrated capability in managing project finances and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-moving, delivery-centric workplace.
- Educational qualification such as a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a similar field.
