Role Overview

Join the Asset Renewal Team focused on refurbishing, remediating, and upgrading existing buildings and structures to extend their lifespan and ensure compliance with current standards. Based on the Gold Coast, this role offers the chance to work on a variety of rewarding projects with a collaborative and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Handle payment claims aligned with contract specifications.
  • Assess and approve site instructions, subcontractor and pricing variations.
  • Review project documents to identify risks, defects, and delays.
  • Maintain detailed project records and reports.
  • Participate in project initiation meetings.
  • Review and contribute to scopes of work for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet project specifications and standards.
  • Prepare, issue, and manage tender packages.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to Project Managers.
  • Support achieving commercial goals and project profitability.
  • Assist in planning, administration, and monitoring of projects, keeping accurate documentation and timelines.
  • Communicate project status with stakeholders and escalate risks when necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Contract Administration required.
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Contract Administration or similar roles in construction.
  • Proficient in contract preparation and administration.
  • Experienced in managing contract variations, delays, and claims.
  • Ability to monitor project cash flow and prepare reports.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
