Content Writer

About the Role

This remote contract opportunity involves working as a Content Writer and Editor focusing on evaluating, editing, and improving written materials. The role requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week with compensation ranging from $22 to $70 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and alignment with project criteria.
• Perform detailed writing assessments and provide constructive critiques for content enhancement.
• Identify AI-generated text, highlighting elements of synthetic or inferior quality content.
• Edit documents to ensure proper grammar, sentence structure, tone, and overall language quality, maintaining high proficiency in English.
• Work remotely with project leads and experts, contributing editorial feedback to improve content outcomes.
• Offer written insights and suggestions to strengthen the quality of AI model training datasets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Documented background in writing, text editing, or content evaluation roles.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, or related disciplines, or practical experience in teaching English is preferred.
• Native-level mastery of English with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Capability to distinguish subtle differences between human-authored and AI-generated content.
• Prior experience with content quality assurance, editorial reviews, or related projects.
• Strong organizational abilities and aptitude to work autonomously in a remote environment.
