Role Scope
We seek a creative and digitally proficient content producer skilled in generating engaging news and entertainment materials. This candidate should possess a keen news awareness, enthusiasm for pop culture and trending topics, and the capability to create diverse types of content spanning from text articles to short video formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling editorial pieces that engage the Singaporean demographic across multiple digital channels for 8days.
- Compose timely, precise, and interesting articles covering entertainment and trending news stories.
- Spot viral and trending subjects, devising fresh story angles that strongly appeal to the audience.
- Conceptualize, film, and edit short videos suitable for social platforms such as TikTok.
- Leverage AI technologies ethically to enhance processes including research, brainstorming, scriptwriting, video editing, transcription, and overall workflow efficiency.
- Track and analyze content performance metrics to guide and refine future content development strategies.
Qualifications
- Possess a diploma or degree in any relevant field.
- Have between two to three years of related professional experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in creating short video or carousel content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
- Exhibit strong command of both written and spoken English.
- Apply solid logical reasoning and make sound editorial decisions.
- Have a robust news instinct to select stories that connect with local audiences.
- Be skilled in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent programs.
