About the Role

Join Centellic’s Commercial Content team as a Content Editor, playing a key role in delivering accurate, compelling, and strategically relevant content for legal professionals worldwide. This full-time position based in London offers the chance to work at the intersection of editorial excellence and international business law, shaping how legal insight is conveyed across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Meticulously copy-edit commercial submissions adhering to style guides and product standards.
• Skillfully rephrase complex technical texts without changing their meaning, highlighting queries to authors when necessary, and ensuring clarity especially for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contributions.
• Utilize specialized resources, such as predefined Generative AI prompts, to guide and expand authors’ coverage areas.
• Craft engaging headlines and standfirsts that capture the essence of the content.
• Appropriately tag content pieces and recommend taxonomy enhancements to improve content organization.
• Develop promotional content to support commercial material both internally and on external platforms, including social media.
• Collaborate extensively with coordinators, customer service, online content, and sales teams to manage publication schedules and maintain top-quality output.
• Enhance content usability by verifying author-supplied links and adding relevant new links.
• Perform thorough reviews and corrections of online editions across the content portfolio.
• Proofread various content items to uphold linguistic accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and grammatical precision.
• Strong comprehension and editorial acumen.
• Proficient in rewriting complex or technical material.
• Effective communication and time-management abilities.
• Experience with publishing or information services is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools, legal knowledge, Adobe Acrobat, advanced Microsoft Word, content management systems (CMS), and work-management applications are advantageous.
