About the Role

Kingdom Trading Limited is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Content Creator to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. This individual will be responsible for promoting Uncle Bill’s, a diverse household and consumer products brand, by crafting captivating digital content that builds brand recognition and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce compelling, high-quality TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, product demonstrations, lifestyle segments, and other short-form video content.
• Conceptualize innovative ideas that highlight the uniqueness and utility of everyday Uncle Bill’s products, making them appealing and shareable.
• Handle the entire content creation process from shooting to editing using smartphones, cameras, and relevant editing software.
• Discover products with strong storytelling potential and translate their features into engaging narratives.
• Create instructional videos, product hacks, comparisons, challenges, trending content, and customer-oriented material.
• Conduct ongoing research on social media platforms to identify emergent trends and incorporate them effectively into brand content.
• Collaborate with customers, employees, influencers, and content creators to generate authentic user-generated content (UGC).
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities with innovative content.
• Maintain a consistent schedule and steady flow of fresh digital content.
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as views, engagement, shares, and watch time to refine future content strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience in generating engaging short-video content.
• Strong awareness of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current social media trends.
• Proficient in smartphone photography and videography.
• Advanced skills in video editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, and Canva.
• Natural creative flair and effective storytelling skills.
• Comfortable both appearing on camera and directing others.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, consistently delivering content without delay.
• Good understanding of Ugandan audience preferences and cultural trends that capture attention.
• Experience creating content for consumer, retail, FMCG, or lifestyle brands is advantageous.

Success Criteria

The ideal candidate can look at any Uncle Bill’s product in our warehouse and envision unique TikTok or Instagram Reel content. Performance will be evaluated based on content volume, reach, engagement metrics, shares, watch time, audience growth, and ultimately, enhanced brand awareness and consumer demand.
