Consumables Associate

Position Overview

Serving as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada offers an opportunity to enhance your expertise in retail operations. Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Help customers by showcasing relevant products or services, guiding them to products, and aiding in their purchase decisions.
• Address customer concerns tactfully and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Maintain an attractive sales floor by stocking, rotating inventory, removing damaged or expired items, organizing product displays, and ensuring merchandise is correctly priced and signed.
• Handle claims and returns properly, safeguard merchandise, monitor high-loss items, and uphold a safe workplace following company policies.
• Receive deliveries, stock items efficiently using appropriate equipment, and complete required documentation.
• Direct service-related or transactional requests to the Customer Service Manager when needed.
• Perform tasks such as stocking, picking merchandise, downstocking as necessary, applying product protections, and setting modular displays including flex modulars and shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is set at $17.75 per hour.

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years or older.
