Opportunity Overview
A leading hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is offering a permanent role for a Consultant Neurologist specialized in managing epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and stroke patients. The organization is looking for skilled professionals to join their modern healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities and Experience
- Provide expert clinical care for patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
- Work within an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), applying specialized neurophysiological techniques.
- Deliver proficient management of neurological conditions including stroke and multiple sclerosis.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Possession of a recognized medical degree with certifications such as CCT/CESR (UK), CCST (Ireland/Belgium), FACHARZT (Germany), Swedish Board, French Board, Saudi Board, ABMS (American), Canadian, or New Zealand Fellowship.
- At least two years of clinical experience following qualification.
- Eligibility to obtain medical licensing through the UAE Department of Health (DOH) for Consultant Neurologists.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise specifically in epilepsy, seizure disorders, and experience within an EMU.
- Additional fellowship or qualifications in Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
