Overview
Mediix invites applications for Senior Staff Specialist and Staff Specialist Anaesthetists to join a growing team at a key hospital within Queensland Health. This opportunity allows you to provide exceptional anaesthesia services across multiple clinical areas while benefiting from the lifestyle of a prime regional coastal city in Australia.
Role Details
As a valued team member, you will work collaboratively across surgery, obstetrics, and intensive care disciplines, providing high-standard anaesthetic care. The position offers flexible options including full-time and part-time roles. There is also potential to develop a private practice, supported by local private hospitals and networks of general practitioners and specialists.
Main Duties
- Administering expert anaesthetic care across specialties including surgical, obstetric, and intensive care procedures.
- Partnering with multidisciplinary colleagues to optimize patient outcomes.
- Coaching and mentoring junior medical professionals to foster their development.
- Engaging in ongoing enhancements of clinical standards and departmental practices.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Annual salary ranges from $210,332 to $266,677 for full-time roles, with total remuneration reaching up to $528,085 when including salary sacrifice benefits.
- Employer contributions to superannuation up to 12.75%, plus annual leave loading and professional development allowances.
