Job Overview

We are seeking a Civil Site Supervisor for an ongoing project located in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The role entails overseeing and coordinating activities with vendors, contractors, and the in-house team to complete work within scheduled timelines while ensuring high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily site operations, maintaining overall execution across the project.
• Oversee civil, plumbing, electrical, and other construction-related tasks.
• Assign duties to ground-level workers and manage manpower daily.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure work aligns with them accurately.
• Conduct weekly and monthly assessments of materials and work progress, preparing reports.
• Engage in project planning and measurement verification.
• Implement waste minimization strategies on site.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, then assign suitable vendors to specific jobs.
• Handle escalations according to predefined escalation protocols, and obtain necessary approvals from seniors.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and perform quantity checks.
• Take precise measurements for all project-related work.
• Ensure timely project completion per the stipulated deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and communicate effectively with labor force.
• Confirm work quality is up to specification standards.
• Supervise site staff and all contractors engaged in construction activities.
• Coordinate and communicate regularly with architects, consultants, contractors, and staff, reporting progress to top management.
• Maintain thorough documentation regarding materials, inspections, and project closeout.
• Review and verify bills submitted by contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure incoming materials satisfy both quantity and quality requirements.
• Stay knowledgeable about relevant rules, regulations, best practices, and performance criteria.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality output.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in civil site supervision roles.
• Basic proficiency in English language and professional email etiquette.
• Capability to independently manage site execution conforming to client specifications.
• Keen attention to detail for detecting and rectifying measurement inaccuracies.
• Preferably experienced in construction projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles and bar bending schedules (BBS).
• Strong communication abilities with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Decision-making aptitude coupled with leadership qualities.
