Opportunity Overview

Located in Dublin with hybrid work expectations (3 days in office), Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business is seeking a skilled Construction Manager. This role involves leading construction activities across project sites ensuring safe execution, timely completion, and adherence to quality and company standards. Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project quality plans, technical specs, and schedules.
• Effectively plan and organize construction tasks to maximize resource utilization and meet project deadlines.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to promptly address any discrepancies or conflicts.
• Track availability and usage of materials, equipment, and personnel to align with the project timeline.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental policies, and internal procedures during construction activities.
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to on-site teams, setting objectives to deliver operational success.
• Ensure consistent understanding and adherence to policies by team members, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager or an equivalent function within complex industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, site coordination, and resource allocation.
• Proven leadership capabilities managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and efficiently resolve site challenges.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
