Job Overview

Seeking a knowledgeable Construction Estimator with solid construction expertise in cost estimation to join our team. The role involves carefully reviewing project documents and blueprints to understand project requirements and prepare accurate cost evaluations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Examine project plans, blueprints, and related documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of each construction assignment.
• Identify production factors that affect the overall costs for materials and services.
• Create detailed material and cost estimates for construction products and services.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors, builders, and internal teams.
• Coordinate and manage bid submissions from contractors and suppliers.
• Analyze bid information to develop thorough cost reports.
• Communicate prepared estimates effectively to management and key stakeholders.
• Revise cost estimates to reflect project changes or updates.
• Submit finalized bids to stakeholders for approval.

• Excellent organizational capabilities to manage various tasks efficiently.
• Self-driven with the ability to independently manage responsibilities and ensure task completion without close supervision.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, subcontractors, management, and team members at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with leadership principles, production methods, and resource coordination.
• Consistent delivery of accurate, high-quality results within deadlines.
• Creative problem-solver with a strong technical background and the ability to assess risks carefully.

Requirements

• Between three to five years of experience in construction.
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to estimating.
• Experience with CAD software, Bluebeam, or the ability to read blueprints effectively.
• Bi-lingual skills are considered an advantage but not mandatory.
