About the Role
We are collaborating with a commercial law firm to recruit a Conflicts Analyst who will work closely with lawyers and partners to examine intricate conflicts issues, offer effective risk mitigation strategies, and aid the enhancement of internal compliance procedures and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed conflicts checks to pinpoint potential legal, regulatory, or business risks for both new and existing cases.
- Collaborate with fee earners and partners to provide practical, client-focused resolutions to complex risk problems.
- Support continual improvements of conflicts search tools, workflows, and risk management frameworks.
- Advise internal teams on regulatory compliance standards and organizational risk policies.
- Mentor junior team members by imparting technical expertise and serving as the main contact for compliance questions.
- Participate in group risk projects and assist in maintaining information barriers as necessary.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have a proven track record managing conflicts in a commercial law environment, with strong analytical abilities and sound commercial judgment. They should balance risk oversight with delivering outstanding client service and comfortably engage stakeholders at various levels. Experience with specialized compliance technology will be advantageous.
