Role Overview

The Concrete Finisher role at Saeed Crete is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves the placement, leveling, smoothing, and finishing of concrete works such as slabs, sidewalks, and foundations. Tasks require the use of both hand and power tools. Daily activities include preparing work sites, erecting and removing formwork, assisting concrete pours, and ensuring proper curing and finishing procedures are observed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle formwork for various concrete structures.
• Prepare surfaces and work areas before concrete application.
• Assist with pouring concrete and apply finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces.
• Interpret basic drawings or instructions and adhere to site supervisor's directions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working onsite.
• Work outdoors under different weather conditions as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency with power tools and basic carpentry relating to cutting, shaping, and finishing components for concrete work.
• Experience in formwork tasks including setting, bracing, and stripping forms for foundational and slab structures.
• Skills in flatwork operations such as placing, screeding, troweling, and finishing horizontal concrete surfaces.
• Familiarity with operating or assisting with heavy equipment used in concrete tasks (e.g., mixers, vibrators, compactors), subject to training and authorization.
• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or general construction experience is an advantage.
• Ability to comply with safety guidelines, lift heavy materials, and work extended hours according to project needs.
• Basic comprehension of construction measurements and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
