Role Overview
This role is for a Computer Vision Developer based on-site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of impactful computer vision applications, transforming raw data and AI algorithms into a robust, scalable ecosystem focused on high efficiency, security, and tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement computer vision applications tailored to various real-world settings.
- Innovate by proposing and evaluating novel detection and segmentation methods.
- Design and automate the entire lifecycle of training, validation, and inference pipelines for AI models.
- Create and label datasets necessary for training, while collaborating with internal teams and clients to acquire relevant imagery and leveraging public data sources.
- Study and apply insights from cutting-edge scientific research.
- Leverage large language models (LLMs) to enhance dataset generation and validate AI model outputs.
- Maintain high code quality standards by following best practices, conducting tests, and participating in peer reviews.
- Drive continuous improvements in development and experimentation workflows.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Understanding of image and video processing techniques, alongside deep learning applications specific to computer vision.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Familiarity with automated testing methodologies.
- Basic competency with Linux operating systems.
- Experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
- Practiced in version control using Git.
- Adherence to sound programming practices and agile development methodologies.
- Intermediate proficiency in English communication.
- Possession of a valid work visa for Saudi Arabia.
- Availability to commence work by October 2026 or earlier.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees (Master's, PhD) or published research in AI or computer vision.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of prompting and utilizing APIs for large language models.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or MQTT.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Knowledge of image and video compression techniques.
- Experience working with NVIDIA DeepStream SDK.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, permanent role with employment facilitated through an Employer of Record arrangement via a local partner in Saudi Arabia.
