Computer Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient and customer-focused Computer Technician to become part of our dynamic After-Sales Service team at eXtra (United Electronics Co.) located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role demands hands-on expertise in handling various computer and mobile device tasks along with providing excellent technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply screen protectors and coatings to mobile phones and smartwatches professionally.
• Install and set up Windows operating systems on desktop computers and laptops.
• Install, activate, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office suites and antivirus programs.
• Format and reinstall operating systems on mobile devices, desktops, and laptops as required.
• Manage data migration across mobile devices of varied brands and platforms.
• Set up and resolve issues related to printers and associated equipment.
• Offer timely technical support and efficiently address customer challenges.
• Accept maintenance devices from customers, document, and generate service requests within the system.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and execute essential hardware and software troubleshooting procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance of computers and mobile devices.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable in installing and activating antivirus software.
• Basic skills in configuring and troubleshooting printer devices.
• Excellent communication and customer service aptitude.
• Ability to manage work efficiently in fast-paced retail or service settings.
