Computer Science Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our team at Orchids The International School in Mumbai. This role involves designing comprehensive lesson plans and assessments to track and enhance student learning in computer science.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans covering computer science topics such as Python programming, coding, robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, and microprocessors.
• Teach and explain complex computer science concepts in a manner suitable for diverse learning styles and student abilities.
• Offer personalized assistance to students requiring additional support or with special educational needs.
• Collaborate actively with fellow faculty members to develop curriculum resources and refine teaching approaches.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess between 1 to 4 years of experience in teaching or instructing computer science.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.Com), Educational Technology (B.Ed), or a closely related field; having a Master's degree is advantageous.
• Demonstrate solid proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, with familiarity in other languages considered a plus.
