About the Role
Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland is seeking a Compliance Manager based in Dublin to join their Compliance team. Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Compliance, this full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to take on a managerial role within a dynamic and practical team environment. The incumbent will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of the annual compliance plan and new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee aspects of the Compliance Framework and Monitoring Plan as delegated by senior compliance leaders.
- Offer regulatory guidance to the frontline team on an ad hoc basis and contribute to project working groups.
- Conduct compliance training sessions aligned with the annual training schedule.
- Prepare comprehensive periodic reports for submission to the Chief Compliance Officer.
- Support senior management in reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures.
- Analyze regulatory updates and Dear CEO letters to identify gaps and communicate changes across the firm.
- Collaborate with the wider Compliance team and business units on requests and inspections from the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive enhancements in cooperation with other departments until completion.
Regulatory Context and Duties
Under the Central Bank of Ireland's Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) established by the 2023 Act, this Control Function role mandates adherence to honesty, integrity, skill, diligence, co-operation with regulators, customer fairness, and compliance with market conduct standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Compliance or Risk roles, preferably within a MIFID firm.
- Relevant professional qualifications and membership in applicable professional bodies.
- Understanding of regulations pertinent to Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland.
- Experience interacting with the Central Bank of Ireland is advantageous.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and hold a collaborative team spirit.

Education & Additional Requirements
- Professional Diploma in Compliance or readiness to pursue one over time.
- Third-level degree, preferably in business or law.
- Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essentials.
- Commitment to attaining subject matter expertise through further qualifications.

This role is designated as a Control Function (CF2) position pursuant to Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness & Probity Standards, emphasizing the responsibility and accountability required.
