Job description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to oversee adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, internal controls, and governance policies. This role involves managing risks related to regulatory compliance and ensuring the organization operates within established legal and ethical frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and update the compliance framework and associated policies to reflect current regulatory standards.
- Keep abreast of evolving legal and regulatory requirements impacting the organization.
- Perform thorough compliance evaluations and identify any gaps or areas needing improvement.
- Investigate any incidents or breaches relating to compliance.
- Lead internal audits and reviews focused on compliance matters.
- Develop and conduct training sessions to raise compliance awareness among staff.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities through registers and documentation.
- Assist with regulatory inspections and external audits as needed.
- Track and oversee implementation of corrective measures and ensure their timely completion.
- Provide regular reporting on compliance performance to senior management.
