Job Overview
This position involves conducting extensive market and competitive research, including both primary investigations and customer studies. The role requires managing and updating well-maintained databases with high data integrity, delivering vital market insights, monitoring shifts in industry landscapes, and performing strategic research on customers, competitors, and markets. The incumbent is also responsible for drafting reports with insights and strategic advice.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence exercises covering primary research and customer studies.
- Establish and maintain organized data repositories and infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and data security.
- Deliver market intelligence reports featuring market size assessments and emerging industry trends to inform marketing and product strategies.
- Track industry developments and produce analyses determining relevance to business units and solution groups.
- Coordinate advanced strategic intelligence projects covering customers and competitors to support informed strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the monitoring of program metrics against known benchmarks and consolidate market research fund requests for budgeting evaluations.
- Ensure thorough data collection via primary and secondary research methods, maintaining data quality standards.
- Prepare, present, and communicate detailed reports summarizing research findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Address complex challenges with innovative approaches, showcasing sound judgment in creative problem-solving and independent project management.
- Manage projects of moderate to high complexity, delivering professionally crafted reports aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency.
- Typically possesses 4 to 7 years of professional experience in marketing, project management, or similar areas; applicants holding advanced degrees may have 3 to 5 years of experience.
Essential Knowledge and Technical Skills
- Analytical methods and business intelligence tools

- Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau
