Role Overview
The Compensation Analyst position primarily involves managing daily analytical and administrative tasks relating to the compensation function within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and submit compensation data to external market survey providers, ensuring all information is precise and satisfies survey requirements.
- Perform job matching, competitive market benchmarking, and detailed compensation analysis to create data-driven salary recommendations for review and approval.
- Offer analytical and administrative support for maintaining salary structures, market pricing strategies, compensation planning, and other related programs.
- Assist the Compensation team in executing the annual global compensation review, including preparing data, analyzing results, and coordinating processes.
- Maintain accuracy of compensation data within HR systems, enhancing data integrity, reporting, and support across HR technology platforms.
- Generate quarterly compensation reports and conduct ad hoc analyses to address business needs and provide actionable insights.
- Handle the Compensation team’s inbox, responding to queries from HR Business Partners regarding compensation matters.
- Support the creation and delivery of compensation communications, training sessions, and educational resources for stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of industry compensation trends, regulatory updates, and market practices through ongoing research and professional resources.
- Contribute to compensation-related projects, process enhancements, and various team initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in compensation, HR, or analytical roles, ideally within multinational organizations or global compensation consulting contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance; Master’s degree in HR is preferred.
- Solid understanding of compensation principles such as salary structuring, market pricing, job matching, and annual compensation cycles.
- Prior exposure to compensation program administration and support.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) and compensation-specific systems preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, along with proficient use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools like Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities with an aptitude for interpreting and communicating complex data clearly.
- Ability to present compensation findings and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with HR business partners and global stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven, proactive approach with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and build solid professional relationships.
- This role requires working onsite four days per week and may involve travel to two local offices.
