Job description

Position Overview

This full-time role is designed for professionals with a relevant combination of work experience and education, ideally holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. The Compensation Analyst position at FIS entails supporting the management and analysis of compensation programs across the company. The role focuses on collaboration with HR partners and shared services to deliver insightful data concerning incentives, bonuses, and leadership pay within a global context.

Team Environment

You will be part of a dedicated and cooperative Compensation Analyst team responsible for enterprise-level compensation programs, partnering with HR and business leadership to maintain fair, competitive, and data-driven compensation practices. The team emphasizes analytics, market insights, and continual process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign high-volume, low-value compensation processes such as job reviews, promotion analysis, market pricing, and FAQs by utilizing AI and automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with HR systems teams to integrate AI-powered workflows into platforms like Workday, dashboards, or intake models.
  • Create reusable AI prompts, decision support tools, and self-service options for Total Pay & Operations (TPO), HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and managers.
  • Translate complex compensation data into clear, executive-level narratives that explain current trends, their significance, and recommended actions.
  • Prepare concise materials for executive audiences including one-slide insights, decision memos, and scenario analyses.
  • Develop interpretations of compensation data tailored for managers and employees to promote fairness, transparency, and consistency.
  • Offer analytical support for core compensation activities such as structuring pay, promotions, incentives, and pay equity.
  • Partner with Compensation Leaders to validate recommendations using data analysis, scenario planning, and benchmarking.
  • Link job architecture elements like outcomes, capabilities, and stages with pay decisions and business results.
  • Drive enablement by reducing manual efforts and fostering product-led solutions within the Total Rewards team.
  • Develop instructional materials, quick reference guides, and training sessions to encourage stakeholder adoption of new tools and AI-driven processes.
  • Serve as an intermediary translating communication between compensation subject matter experts, data and technology teams, and business leaders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Two to three years of professional experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related human resources functions.
  • Solid understanding of compensation principles and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with abilities in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working with HR information systems; familiarity with Oracle Human Capital Management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Experience supporting incentive or variable pay programs.
  • Familiarity with salary surveys or market benchmarking tools.
  • Background in global or shared services environments.

Employee Benefits

  • Flexible and innovative workplace culture.
  • Diversity and collaboration encouraged across teams.
  • Access to professional and personal growth opportunities.
  • Participation in volunteer initiatives and charitable activities.
  • Competitive remuneration and benefits package.
