Role Overview

The position of Company Secretary at SSRC Logistics Ltd is pivotal in maintaining compliance with prevailing corporate legislation, regulatory mandates, and governance protocols. Situated on-site in South Goa, this full-time role involves diligent preparation and upkeep of statutory documentation, registers, and records of board and general meetings. Responsibilities include collaboration with directors and key stakeholders on secretarial affairs, timely filing of mandatory returns and regulatory submissions, plus drafting and scrutinizing corporate policies, resolutions, and documents. The Company Secretary also supports the board by promoting best governance practices, managing corporate disclosures, overseeing share-related functions where relevant, and coordinating with legal, finance, and operational teams to underpin strategic initiatives and risk mitigation efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Possession of a professional Company Secretary (CS) certification from a recognized body; supplementary qualifications in Law, Commerce, or Business Administration are advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of company law, corporate governance principles, compliance requirements, and statutory filings applicable to logistics and transportation sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting meeting minutes, resolutions, policies, and other corporate documentation, with strong skills in written communication and record management.
  • Effective interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities to coordinate with boards, regulatory authorities, auditors, legal advisers, and internal departments.
  • Proficiency with office software suites and secretarial or compliance digital tools, complemented by adeptness in electronic record maintenance and reporting platforms.
  • High attention to detail, ethical integrity, and discretion, coupled with strong organizational and time management aptitude suited to dynamic business environments.
  • Prior industry experience within logistics, transportation, or analogous sectors is preferred, along with awareness of risk management practices and internal control systems.
