Company Driver

Role Overview

We are seeking dependable and experienced Company Drivers to immediately join our team in Dubai Production City. The role involves ensuring safe and timely transportation of employees and materials to various locations, including project sites and company accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive employees to designated locations such as project sites and company housing on time.
• Operate a variety of company vehicles including 3-ton pickups, vans, light vehicles, and heavy buses.
• Assist with local purchasing by collecting materials, tools, equipment, and samples from suppliers and customers.
• Collect and promptly submit original invoices, delivery notes, receipts, and other required documents.
• Support the safe loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and reporting any damages immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of all company vehicles.
• Monitor servicing and maintenance schedules, promptly reporting mechanical issues or concerns.
• Ensure all vehicles are adequately fueled and prepared for use.
• Prepare and submit thorough daily trip sheets, mileage logs, and weekly vehicle reports.
• Immediately report any traffic violations, accidents, damages, maintenance issues, or vehicle incidents.
• Adhere strictly to UAE traffic laws, RTA regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain a professional demeanor including appearance, hygiene, and respectful conduct.
• Perform additional transportation and logistical duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid UAE manual driving license; categories 3 and 6 are preferred.
• Have at least 2 to 3 years of driving experience within the UAE.
• Proven ability to drive 3-ton pickups and heavy buses safely.
• Experience operating vans, including models like Toyota Hiace, and other light vehicles.
• Strong familiarity with Dubai and wider UAE road networks.
• Practical experience with local purchase errands, collecting materials, making deliveries, and transporting employees.
• Previous work history in events, exhibitions, fit-out, carpentry, production, or related sectors is an advantage.
• Proficient in using navigation tools such as Google Maps or similar apps.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Capable of maintaining precise trip and vehicle documentation.
• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading tasks when necessary.
• Exhibit flexibility, responsibility, punctuality, and strong teamwork abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Prepared to begin employment immediately.
