Position Overview
We seek a strategic and influential Communications Director with substantial leadership experience to spearhead our communications strategy, corporate messaging, media relations, and reputation oversight. This role enables a senior communications professional to translate business objectives into impactful messaging, provide counsel to executive leadership, and fortify a consistent global brand, all within a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead a comprehensive global communications framework aligned with company goals.
- Prioritize communications initiatives consistent with business strategies.
- Manage corporate communications, public and media relations, and external outreach efforts.
- Craft and maintain coherent corporate messaging across all platforms.
- Advise senior executives on strategic communication matters.
- Prepare executive speeches, presentations, talking points, briefing materials, and leadership communications.
- Foster relationships with journalists, media entities, industry publications, and communication partners.
- Supervise the creation and dissemination of press releases, announcements, media statements, and thought leadership content.
- Implement media strategies to elevate brand recognition and organizational visibility.
- Spot opportunities for executive positioning and thought leadership in the industry.
- Lead communications initiatives supporting significant business developments, partnerships, and launches.
- Maintain corporate communication standards, guidelines, and messaging frameworks.
- Ensure brand voice consistency across internal and external communications.
- Oversee digital channels, newsletters, corporate content, and selected social media activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams for aligned strategies.
- Develop targeted stakeholder communication tactics for varied audiences including customers, investors, employees, and partners.
- Lead crisis communication strategies and reputation management protocols.
- Establish and maintain crisis response plans and escalation procedures.
- Coordinate messaging during sensitive or high-profile events.
- Monitor media coverage, sector trends, public opinion, and potential reputational threats.
- Provide regular reports to management on communications effectiveness and reputation status.
- Manage budgets, agencies, consultants, and external communication vendors.
- Direct and mentor communications team members and contributors cross-functionally.
- Build internal stakeholder relationships across geographic and functional lines.
- Oversee production of corporate reports, presentations, and strategic materials.
- Support internal communication strategies during organizational change.
- Promote employee engagement through tailored communication plans.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and media engagements.
- Maintain networks with external partners and professional organizations.
- Continuously assess and enhance communication processes, technologies, and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, legal standards, and communication ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Communications, Business Administration or similar is advantageous.
- Extensive senior-level experience in corporate communications, public or media relations, or a comparable leadership position.
- Proven success in devising and implementing enterprise-wide communications strategies.
- Strong track record in managing corporate reputation and external messaging.
- Established relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and communication networks.
- Exceptional skills in writing, verbal communication, presentations and storytelling.
- Experience providing strategic communications advice to executive-level leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate branding, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability in crisis communication and reputation management.
- Expertise in multi-channel communications campaign management.
- Proficient understanding of digital communications, social media, and content strategy.
- Excellent strategic and business judgment capabilities.

Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
