Lovestream Coffee LLP is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Commi 1/2/3 in their kitchen department, based in Surat, Gujarat.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Support food preparation by following standard recipes and portion guidelines.
• Perform essential tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
• Adhere to instructions from Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Head Chef.
• Complete mise en place (preparation of ingredients) before service hours.
• Assist in preparing food orders during restaurant operations.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion size of all food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, and storage spaces.
• Check quality and freshness of ingredients prior to use and store them properly following FIFO principles.
• Follow food safety and personal hygiene standards rigorously.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Help receive, organize, and stock kitchen supplies as needed.
• Minimize food waste by efficient utilization of ingredients.
• Report to senior kitchen staff regarding low inventory or ingredient quality concerns.
• Assist with daily kitchen opening and closing duties.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely food preparation and continuous service flow.
• Comply with all café standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
• Carry out other kitchen-related tasks assigned by management as necessary.

Candidate Requirements and Additional Information

• Age requirement: between 18 and 28 years.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow detailed instructions.

Compensation and Location

Location: Surat, Gujarat, India

Monthly salary range: 15,500 to 25,000 INR.
