Job Overview

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our pizza outlet located in Zirakpur. This role is suitable for candidates ranging from freshers to those with up to three years of experience. The primary responsibility of this position involves assisting with the preparation of pizzas, ensuring ingredient quality, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Key Duties

• Support in preparing and cooking pizzas following standard recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and orderly arrangements to comply with hygiene protocols.
• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, making dough, and organizing toppings efficiently.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food supplies to keep ingredients fresh.
• Operate kitchen machinery such as pizza ovens, mixers, and slicers with safety precautions.
• Adhere to health and safety standards mandated by the outlet.
• Assist in managing kitchen stock by maintaining adequate ingredient availability.
• Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen team to complete various tasks effectively.
• Control portion sizes and minimize wastage during food preparation processes.
