Opportunity Overview

The Commercial Business Partner (CBP) role is pivotal in supporting Strategic Business Units and Regional Managers. Working closely with our Oils and Technical Services teams across metropolitan and regional areas, including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia, you will drive revenue growth and profitability through accurate reporting, insightful commercial analysis, and sound financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial insights that promote business growth while maintaining strong governance standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Support monthly financial reporting and create pricing models as required.
• Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure smooth and precise month-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure data across the business is dependable and high-quality.
• Examine costs related to allocation, volume, profitability, and client lifecycle to improve earnings quality.

Candidate Profile

• Commercially savvy and self-motivated individual with robust analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with operational teams.
• Comprehensive financial knowledge encompassing consolidation, management accounting, audit, taxation, and corporate finance.
• Experience utilizing systems and technology to streamline and optimize business processes.
• Track record of designing and maintaining effective financial controls to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Background in commercial finance and business partnering within operational settings.
• Experienced in handling major contracts, tenders, and capital investment proposals.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and detailed cost analysis.
