Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Edit and mask images adhering to artistic direction and quality standards.
• Develop composite images applying optimal techniques for accurate layout matching.
• Manage and ensure final color quality of image content.
• Assess images for appropriate contrast, neutrality, tones, and identify artifacts like banding or moiré effects.
• Confirm product colors against samples and reference documents.
• Account for print specifications during image processing.
• Engage in quality checks of colleagues' work as part of continuous quality assurance initiatives.
• Utilize image and project tracking systems to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Maintain organization and proper file management practices.
• Communicate assignment progress and updates to departmental leadership.
• Take accountability for image content quality on projects, collaborating with creative teams and conveying essential information.
• Contribute to process enhancements and attend production meetings to positively influence creative outcomes.
• Manage remote proofing workflows using GMG software.
• Oversee color correction of incoming products from various studios.
• Perform CMYK to Spot color separations with editable files.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on professional experience with Adobe Photoshop and fundamental familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Preferably skilled in applying print standards to image assets.
• Experience maintaining and working within a color-managed production environment.
• Understanding of file types relevant to both print and digital platforms.
• Applied knowledge of color theory principles.
• Proficient in advanced masking methodologies.
• Creative experience in packaging design preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfortable working on current Mac OS systems.
• Preferred experience using Adobe InDesign or similar design software.
