Collection Officer

Role Overview

The Collection Officer is responsible for managing the recovery of overdue payments from customers through various communication channels including calls and in-person field visits. The objective is to ensure the timely collection of pending dues while achieving the set collection targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle customer contact for payment recovery via phone and field visits, along with consistent follow-ups.
• Meet targets for recovering outstanding payments promptly and efficiently.
• Negotiate agreed-upon repayment plans and clarify any customer questions concerning their overdue accounts.
• Keep detailed records of collection efforts, payment promises, and the status of recovery processes.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, RBI regulations, and ethical debt recovery standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address escalated issues and enhance the effectiveness of collection procedures.
