About Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation
Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SSCHRC) is equipped with a 500-bed facility offering advanced cancer treatment. The institution is committed to providing affordable, high-quality care to patients regardless of their caste, creed, gender, education, or socioeconomic background. Having served cancer patients for over a decade, SSCHRC manages approximately 500 outpatients and 100 inpatients daily, with around 150 patients treated daily at the Radiotherapy Department. Its Surgical Oncology Department performs roughly 350 surgeries monthly, covering multiple specialized areas including Breast Diseases, Gynec-Oncology, Uro-Oncology, Neuro-Oncology, Head and Neck, Bone, and Soft Tissue cancers. SSCHRC also runs academic programs accredited under NBE and RGUHS and offers a B.Sc. Nursing course through its College of Nursing.
Role Overview
The position focuses on revenue cycle management primarily involving field collections and payment tracking at the hospital premises in Bengaluru. This full-time role is suited for candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience, especially freshers who demonstrate good communication skills, and is tailored for males due to the fieldwork and travel commitments.
Responsibilities
- Conducting field collections and recovering payments at client locations.
- Reconciling accounts systematically to ensure accuracy.
- Tracking payments and following up diligently with clients.
- Negotiating payment terms and settlements efficiently.
- Submitting daily reports regarding collection and recovery status.
- Ensuring proper documentation and timely deposit of collected funds.
Requirements
- B.Com degree with a foundational knowledge of accounting.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and ownership of a two-wheeler for conducting field visits.
- Good negotiation skills coupled with courteous yet assertive communication.
- Proficiency in basic MS Excel to manage ledgers and reports.
- Fluency in local languages and basic command of English to communicate effectively.
