Coating Applicator

About the Role

Hempel is seeking a dedicated Coating Applicator to contribute to the efficient operation of its Décor Technical Services by executing trial applications, producing sample panels, and delivering demonstrations to customers. Key Responsibilities

• Create sample panels, display boards, and sales brochures to showcase products.
• Secure necessary supplies and equipment to complete assigned duties efficiently.
• Perform on-site applications, demonstrations, and training sessions based on customer requirements, coordinated closely with sales personnel.
• Assist in evaluating complaints through application trials and testing procedures.
• Introduce innovative decorative designs and special effects when appropriate.
• Participate in special projects directed by the Trade Sales Manager.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and materials used in the workflow.
• Ensure maximum operational efficiency while strictly adhering to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional diploma is advantageous.
• Certification in paint application or related training.
• At least two years of experience in a similar coating application role.
• Understanding of paint technology and application techniques is critical.
• Self-driven, proactive, and a cooperative team member.
• Adaptable to working long hours and persistent in approach.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and working effectively under pressure.
• Exemplary business conduct and professional demeanor.
• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently.
• Focused on delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to perform tasks outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
• Possession of a valid driving license.
