About the Role
Join Nike and play a pivotal role in leading the operational efficiency of our Auckland store. As the Operations Coach, you will oversee financial performance, customer satisfaction, and shrinkage prevention while fostering a vibrant in-store culture that embodies the Nike brand. You will report to the Assistant Head Coach - Operations and be instrumental in driving excellence across payroll, rostering, cash handling, facilities management, HR initiatives, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with payroll procedures, develop staff rosters and zone charts, and maintain adherence to cash management protocols.
- Support the store in meeting its financial targets.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Operations team to achieve high performance.
- Oversee facilities management, human resources programs, loss prevention strategies, and manage internal communications for break rooms.
Requirements
- A strong enthusiasm for the Nike brand and its values.
- Experience in general retail and prior team leadership roles.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage and inspire teams and customers alike.
- Excellent organizational capabilities to manage multiple operational tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and retail business systems.
