About Orizin
Orizin is pioneering India's first spoon-free meal solution—a clean-label, protein-rich drink designed for people with limited time to eat. The product contains no added sugar, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colors, or flavors; the ingredient label transparently reflects exactly what's inside the bottle. Currently in the MVP development stage, Orizin seeks a co-founder to help transition the product into a scalable brand.
Role Overview
We are looking for a committed, hands-on co-founder to join the company from its early stages. Unlike an employee or advisor role, this position requires real ownership over the strategic direction and operational outcomes of Orizin. This is an equity-only role for now, with no salary until the company secures funding or generates revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the founder to develop product, strategy, and early growth initiatives.
- Take charge of a core business function aligned with your strengths such as supply chain and manufacturing, direct-to-consumer growth and marketing, or finance and operations.
- Participate in critical early decisions related to sourcing, pricing, market positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
- Represent Orizin in discussions with investors, partners, and vendors as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Passionate about clean-label, functional nutrition and the D2C food market in India.
- Exhibits strong ownership mentality, adaptable to ambiguity and rapid early-stage developments.
- Experienced in at least one of the following: supply chain/manufacturing, growth and performance marketing, finance and operations, or product and technology.
- Committed to investing significant time; this is not a part-time or side project.
- Ability to contribute capital is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation Details
This co-founder position currently offers equity ownership only, with no salary at this stage. The equity allocation will be negotiated directly with the founder, considering role, contribution, and commitment.
