Candidate Profile

• Completed training as a machining mechanic specializing in turning or possess an equivalent qualification
• Experience with CNC turning is advantageous
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, using measuring instruments, and operating CNC controls
• Knowledgeable about materials science, cutting data, and tooling technology
• Demonstrated ability to independently set up and monitor turning processes

Responsibilities

• Set up, equip, and operate CNC turning machines based on work plans
• Process workpieces according to drawings, including selecting tools and adjusting cutting parameters
• Oversee production operations and perform dimensional and visual inspections
• Make permissible corrections to programs and parameters
• Document production data, scrap, and process deviations thoroughly
