Role Overview
This permanent role based in Fareham involves joining a machining team focused on CNC turning operations, particularly utilizing sliding head multi-axis automatic lathes. Working hours amount to 37.5 per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis CNC sliding head lathes.
- Performing additional machining tasks such as manual turning, milling, and grinding.
- Carrying out secondary operations including deburring.
- Maintaining cleanliness and general housekeeping within the work area.
Candidate Requirements
- Background in engineering.
- Proven ability to program, set, and operate multi-axis CNC lathes.
- Experience working in high precision machining environments.
- Experience with sliding head lathes is highly desirable.
