About the role

Komidore Plastic Solutions seeks a CNC Router Operator to join its manufacturing team based in Smeaton Grange. This role involves machining and fabricating engineering-grade plastics for diverse industrial applications. Both experienced CNC operators ready to contribute immediately and enthusiastic junior candidates eager to learn CNC machining are considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC router equipment effectively.
• Interpret technical drawings and verify the finished parts align with specifications.
• Manage job loading, tool selection, and continuously monitor machining quality.
• Support CNC programming and job preparation activities depending on skill level.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the machine and workplace areas.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience operating CNC routers is preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to understand and work from technical drawings.
• Experience with programming or CAD/CAM tools is beneficial, especially for senior applicants.
• Dependability, practical mindset, and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to workplace safety.
• Knowledge of plastics machining is advantageous but can be taught.
