About the Role
Join a leading company in the automotive sector specializing in metal stampings and assembly. The organization provides comprehensive tooling services, including progressive and tandem dies with expertise in deep draw, aluminum, ultra-high strength steel (UHSS), and complex stamping dies. An exciting opening for a CNC Programmer/Machinist is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop programs and operate CNC machinery to machine die blocks and die sections.
- Machine boiler plate and tool steel components.
- Perform both 2D and 3D machining and programming tasks.
- Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting for CNC machines and software.
- Collaborate with the CNC coordinator and engineering teams on various projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certification as a General Machinist (Red Seal), Mechanical Technician, CNC certification, or equivalent combination of relevant technical courses and/or work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a machining environment; experience in the Tool & Die sector is advantageous.
- Basic familiarity with Lemoine programming software.
- Experience operating CNC machines with Heidenhain and Fanuc controllers.
- Knowledge or experience in 5-axis machining or proficiency in Work NC software is a plus.
- Ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational aptitude with attention to detail.

Compensation
The hourly wage ranges between $25.00 and $33.00.
