About Novilun Engine Lab
Novilun Engine Lab, based in Bengaluru, is an engineering firm that designs and manufactures its own CNC machinery. These machines are utilized to produce high-performance camshafts for vehicles such as the Maruti Swift, Honda City, and VW Polo.
Job Role and Progression
We are currently seeking a diploma graduate (from NTTF, GTTC, or polytechnic in Tool Engineering or Mechanical) to join us as a trainee and develop into our inaugural CNC operator.
Initial 6 Months: Collaborate closely with the founder to assemble and commission our specialized machines: a camshaft grinder, a CNC-modified lathe with gun drilling capabilities, and a gas nitriding furnace. This includes tasks such as fitting, alignment, assembly, and basic wiring.
Post-training: Operate these CNC machines in production—responsibilities include loading parts, executing programs, measuring components, performing heat treatment, inspection, and packaging. You'll gain hands-on knowledge of every process within the workshop.
You will report directly to the founder in this small startup environment with currently no additional staff.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Tool Engineering or Mechanical (Class of 2025 or 2026)
- Strong practical academic performance and attendance record
- Proficiency in spoken English (the workplace language)
- Confidence operating a conventional lathe and competence with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial gauges
Preferred but Not Required
- Previous exposure to CNC machinery
- A genuine passion for automotive or engine technology

Joining and Selection Process
The anticipated start date is between November and December 2026.
