Job description

Position Overview

This role involves designing and maintaining visually striking merchandise displays across multiple stores to boost the shopping experience and sales. You will leverage your understanding of design theory, customer behavior, and brand standards to ensure all visual presentations meet and enhance the brand’s appeal.

Key Duties

  • Oversee stock levels and refresh displays to keep them attractive.
  • Uphold consistent brand identity and presentation standards in store windows and interiors by crafting eye-catching, commercially viable displays.
  • Apply brand-specific visual merchandising guidelines faithfully.
  • Coordinate store displays adhering to brand strategies and policies.
  • Develop store floor plans designed to maximize visual effect.
  • Regularly check displays, fixtures, and signage to maintain their quality.
  • Document every change in merchandise displays through photographs.
  • Update window displays with seasonal themes, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Manage budget constraints while sourcing props and signage materials.
  • Train store staff to understand and implement visual merchandising standards.
  • Optimize placement of new product lines and refresh store layouts with emerging trends.
  • Create category-based store layouts.
  • Gather and evaluate feedback on merchandise presentation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and sales teams to meet business targets.
  • Contribute to pre-opening activities for new stores and perform timely visits to guarantee brand standards are met.
  • Conduct research on current market trends and lifestyles to inform merchandising decisions.

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will bring 3 to 5 years of retail experience focusing on visual merchandising. A proven history of designing and executing visual display strategies aligned with brand guidelines, including independent creation of displays and planogram execution, is essential. Experience driving visual merchandising projects and a deep understanding of store operations and consumer behavior are expected.
