About the Role
The Cluster Sales Coordinator position for MICE at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, located on Ummahat Island 1 in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, supports the Sales & Marketing department by handling general office tasks and assisting throughout the sales cycle. This role entails preparing sales documents, promoting brand awareness both internally and externally, and facilitating client communications to foster loyalty to Marriott.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying to support sales activities.
- Prepare crucial sales documentation including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders as part of the sales process.
- Promote the brand image within the team and to external stakeholders.
- Assemble informational packages that include brochures and promotional materials to support sales initiatives.
- Apply sales techniques aimed at maximizing revenue while sustaining customer loyalty.
- Manage data entry and reconciliation in sales-related software, including commission tracking and lead management.
- Provide accurate information to guests regarding hotel amenities, pricing, room types, packages, events, and services via phone and email.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
- Uphold company policies, maintain professionalism in appearance, and safeguard confidential information and company assets.
- Greet guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and express genuine appreciation during interactions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, using proper telephone etiquette and preparing error-free written communications.
- Develop and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and listen attentively to employee concerns.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards and participate in reasonable lifting or moving of objects up to 10 pounds.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is not required for this position.
- No license or certification is necessary.
