Position Overview
Arjo is seeking a Clinical Solutions Specialist based in the Republic of Ireland on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. The role centers on collaborating with the commercial team to foster better clinical results and insights among customers in acute, long-term care, and community sectors including HSE, nursing homes, and private healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the clinical evaluation steps throughout the purchasing process.
- Deliver product training and education following sales transactions.
- Advise on selecting appropriate equipment aligned with patient needs.
- Conduct clinical ward rounds to ensure optimal equipment application.
- Organize and participate in customer education initiatives like programs, forums, study days, and national exhibitions.
- Perform pressure ulcer prevalence surveys and assist in related outcome planning and monitoring.
- Conduct clinical patient handling assessments consistent with regional strategies.
- Provide assurance and commitment to enhance clinical outcomes and cost efficiency for partners and patients.
- Engage major stakeholders to develop reference sites, ambassadors, and key opinion leaders for Arjo.
- Collaborate across departments within Arjo to share knowledge and strengthen teamwork.
- Monitor and report on personal performance, customer needs, market trends, and competitor actions, utilizing reporting tools including Salesforce CRM.
- Stay updated on Arjo’s product portfolio and share expertise with team members and new hires.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent professional healthcare qualification such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy is mandatory.
- Previous experience working in healthcare environments.
- Confidently engage with customers during a variety of interactions including demonstrations, presentations, and ward visits.
- Develop or possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage diverse customer contracts.
- Familiarity with the current HSE and private hospital sector dynamics in Ireland, including long-term care and private community users.
- Ability to connect with senior clients to identify and address operational needs including training, care improvements, and HIQA accreditation processes.
- Capability to foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and knowledge exchange.
- Capacity to maintain composure and efficiency under demanding conditions.
Remuneration and Benefits
The compensation package includes a salary range of €52,000 to €55,000, company car or car allowance, bonus schemes, and private healthcare coverage. Additionally, the company supplies essential work tools such as an iPad, laptop, and mobile phone.
