Clinical Psychologist

Overview

The Therapy Hub Counselling is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join its dynamic, small team dedicated to supporting the mental wellbeing of both young people and adults. The role offers an environment that nurtures professional growth, mentoring, and the chance to influence the development of the practice. Experience conducting adult autism and WPATH assessments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical psychological services using evidence-based methods tailored to individual client needs.
• Engage with a supportive team to contribute to mentoring, collaborative planning, and social activities.
• Maintain clear and thorough clinical documentation, including notes, letters, and reports.
• Participate actively in shaping the practice's growth, services, and team culture.

Candidate Profile and Essential Criteria

• Holds tertiary qualifications in Psychology and has full AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Eligible to obtain a Medicare provider number.
• Demonstrates proficiency in risk assessment and utilizes evidence-based treatments.
• Possesses a current Working with Children Check and a recent Police Check.
• Experience with neurodiversity-affirmative practice, including adult autism assessments, is highly valued.
• Comfortable treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and adjustment difficulties.
• Strong commitment to professional development, responsibility for client outcomes, and collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
