Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Clinical Pharmacist role is located in Melbourne, Victoria. The pharmacist will ensure the safe and precise dispensing of medications, offer pharmaceutical care, and provide evidence-supported guidance to customers and health practitioners. Key daily tasks include assessing prescriptions for clinical validity, counseling patients regarding medication usage and side effects, conducting medication reviews, supervising compounding procedures, and maintaining compliance with professional and safety standards. Collaboration with the pharmacy team, assisting with stock and inventory control, and fostering a customer-focused and efficient work environment are also critical aspects of this position.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven expertise in Pharmacist practice and general pharmacy operations.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical care and medication management centered on patient safety and clinical results.
  • Current professional registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively counsel a diverse patient base.
  • High attention to clinical detail, sound judgment, and dedication to ethical, evidence-based practice.
  • Capability to thrive in an active retail pharmacy environment, collaborating well with pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
  • Practical experience in community or retail pharmacy settings and knowledge of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) requirements.
