About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed as a luxury beachfront destination in the United Arab Emirates and is planned to open in 2027. Situated under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the integrated resort is designed for guests seeking entertainment and relaxation. The property will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa. It is currently under construction on a scenic island extending into the Arabian Gulf.
About the Role
The resort is looking to hire a Clerk - Payroll for its Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Help prepare and process payroll while maintaining accuracy and following company policies.
- Keep employee payroll details current, including pay, benefits, and deductions.
- Check and match payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, and any pay adjustments.
- Compile payroll statements and support prompt payment of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Respond to payroll-related questions and fix discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing work, audits, and payroll-related financial schedules.
- Work within internal controls and UAE regulations, coordinating with HR and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll execution.
Candidate Profile
- A diploma or an equivalent qualification is required; a degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll administration, ideally in hospitality.
- Solid knowledge of payroll systems, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Strong precision and a keen eye for detail.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
