Job description

Position Overview

The University of Exeter is seeking dedicated Cleaners to join its Facilities Operations Cleaning Team. Several part-time and one full-time permanent positions are currently available and open for immediate start. The roles involve maintaining cleanliness across over 50 Academic and Administrative buildings and 17 Residence facilities spanning the Streatham and St Luke's campuses. The team operates continuously, covering day and night shifts throughout the year with over 160 in-house cleaning staff.

Working Hours and Positions

  • Two part-time roles, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am to 10am
  • Two part-time roles, 16 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9am to 1pm
  • One full-time role of 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am to 1:48pm

Workdays are fixed; however, the schedule requires working 4 or 5 days out of 7 based on business needs.
