Role Overview

This full-time Cleaner role is based on-site in Peterborough. The Cleaner will be responsible for upholding a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash and recycling bins, wiping down surfaces, and replenishing supplies.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Follow strict health and safety protocols during cleaning operations.
• Properly use, handle, and store cleaning equipment and materials.
• Collaborate effectively with office staff to maintain a professional and welcoming workspace for employees and visitors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Capable of performing thorough deep-cleaning tasks including sanitizing high-touch areas.
• Experience managing restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms including waste and recycling disposal and supply management.
• Understanding of the safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Meticulous attention to detail with dependable time management to complete duties independently.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach to accommodate cleaning requests.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and handle cleaning equipment as necessary.
• Prior commercial or office cleaning experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Availability to work full-time onsite in Peterborough while adhering to company policies and procedures.
