Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner responsible for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across designated indoor and outdoor locations, including offices, facilities, and landscaped areas. The role involves a variety of cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, and maintaining restrooms and common spaces to meet company standards. Safe use of cleaning equipment and materials, along with reporting maintenance or safety concerns, is essential. The Cleaner will collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to uphold an organized and professional environment that supports smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of offices, workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Maintain hygiene in restrooms by cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies like soap and tissue paper.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, furniture, windows, and office devices.
• Empty trash bins, gather waste, and dispose of it in designated disposal locations.
• Keep kitchen and pantry zones clean, wash cups, and maintain order in refreshment areas.
• Regularly refill consumables such as drinking water, paper towels, and hand soap.
• Identify and report any maintenance problems, damages, or safety hazards to the Administration Officer.
• Apply cleaning chemicals and operate equipment safely following company guidelines.
• Store all cleaning supplies and tools properly after use.
• Assist in preparing the office for meetings, events, and guests by ensuring assigned areas are neat and orderly.
• Comply with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic educational background is preferred.
• Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility maintenance is advantageous.
• Knowledge of fundamental health, safety, and hygiene standards in workplace and public environments.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining excellent cleanliness levels.
• Dependability, punctuality, and ability to adhere to schedules and supervisor instructions.
• Ability to work onsite in diverse indoor and outdoor conditions and handle moderate physical tasks such as lifting or moving items.
• Basic English communication skills; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
