Role Overview

This role is a full-time cleaner position based onsite within the Greater Melbourne Area. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping assigned areas. Daily tasks consist of cleaning kitchens and break rooms, sanitizing restrooms, emptying waste bins, and restocking essential supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Additional duties involve maintaining cleaning equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns, and strictly adhering to health, hygiene, and safety protocols. The cleaner must follow schedules and instructions diligently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality on client premises.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience carrying out general cleaning, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal areas.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to carefully follow instructions, cleaning routines, and safety procedures with high attention to detail.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
