About the Role

Join Allied Concrete in Christchurch as a full-time Class 4 Driver delivering ready-mix concrete across the Canterbury region. Work alongside a cooperative and supportive team dedicated to delivering quality service safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in compliance with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies to uphold high standards.
• Efficiently load, unload, and transport concrete from the plant to customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition to represent Allied Concrete positively and sustain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Hold a clean, valid Class 4 Driver's License.
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices set by the company.
• Flexibility with work hours, including early starts and working Monday to Saturday from 5am to 6pm.
• Reliable and punctual with physical fitness and pride in personal appearance.
• Willingness to comply with strict drug and alcohol policies including pre-employment, random, and post-incident testing.

Work Conditions and Hours

• Full-time position offering 40 hours weekly.
• Typical working hours are from 5am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of earlier start times.
• Full uniform and personal protective equipment provided.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $33.
